David Trampe wins Battle of the Brand Ambassadors

Ambassador of Loopuyt Gin takes prize

Making and presenting three signature cocktails within 13 minutes. That was the challenge that six brand ambassadors undertook during the Sensez Battle of Brand Ambassadors for the Perfect Serve Barshow in Amsterdam.

The jury consisted of Marcel van der Ben (Owner of Behind Bars, Utrecht), Sanne Huisman (Owner of Ted, Amsterdam) and Remco Babay (Owner of Porem, Amsterdam). It was judged on the presentation of the cocktail, originality, taste, smell and of course the look of the cocktails. David Trampe served during this battle the best cocktail and was awarded with the prize.

The RASBERRY BERET is the name of the winning cocktail, named after the hit song by Prince. A mix of Loopuyt Gin, sour rhubarb liqueur, Campari, lemon juice, sugar syrup and topped with three raspberries made sure the jury was unanimous. David Trampe: "It's an honor to win this award, I'm thrilled to be representing such a beautiful gin as Loopuyt. I would like to thank Jan van Stigt of Loopuyt for his enthusiasm, inspiration and the opportunities he has given me. There are many beautiful things happening, the award will receive a place of honor in our speakeasy". From some very reputable companies, a total of six brands held courage to participate in this competition.

The other five participants were James Cowan (Buffalo Trace), Sebastiaan van Bokkel (Bobby's Gin), Lennart Deddens (Hooghoudt), Joost Pronk (Disaronno) and Johan Kersten (Sylvius Gin).
